“Detox’ has become a marketing phenomenon. It is hard to open a health or fitness magazine without seeing How to Detox or Detox in 30 Days. Bookshelves are flooded with an influx of detox books (The Raw Food Detox Diet or The Fast Track Detox Diet). You can buy detox supplements, ‘cleanse kits,’ or detox foot pads. If you are selling detox, you have an audience.
I stumbled on an innovative concept out of New York called Cooler Cleanse. With their “Detox to Your Door,” customers can choose between a 3 or 5 day cleanse facilitated by green and fruit juices, nut milks and coconut water. The cleanse consists of six fresh (not pasteurized) juices delivered to your door or available for pick up. Cooler Cleanse is only serving customers in New York City.
Costs for the 3 or 5 day cleanse is $58 per day for their menu or, if you prefer only green juices for you cleanse, it is $60 per day. For delivery to your door, it is an extra $15 per day.
The founder, Eric Helms of Juice Generation, teamed up with celebrity, Salma Hayek, to create and market this line of ‘detox drinks.’ Using a hydraulic juice press and organically grown produce, this duo is serving a highly concentrated market of detox and health enthusiasts.
It doesn’t hurt to have celebrity endorsement either. Since opening the operation in 2008, Cooler Cleanse has been featured in Good Day New York, New York Magazine, Vegetarian Star, In Touch, Daily Candy and on Perez Hilton’s infamous celebrity web site.

This is definitely the best way to juice. Pressing the fruits or vegetables extracts all the enzymes and minerals that the vegetables have, with out destroying them like conventional juicers do. One such juicer that grinds up the fruits/vegetables then presses them is the Norwalk Juicer(triturator). Pressed juices are alive and teeming with life this is necessary to both a sick and a healthy body. There is no better source of health/supplements than ORGANIC juices.
